Harajuku Vs Akihabara.

Harajuku is the traditional center for extreme fashion, but Akihabara has seen a huge boom in the number of maid Kisaten's, or maid cafe's. Akihabara is typically the place for Otaku or nerd/maniac culture. Harajuku has a far more hip image. I guess it is unfair to compare the two places because it is like comparing apples and oranges. I personally don't care too much for either places and would far rather hang out for a fun night in Shibuya.
